Nicki Minaj’s Brother whom they said raped a 12years old girl Claims that 12 Year Old Accuser Was Having Sex With Another Man

Jelani Maraj Indicted For Child Sex Crimes

Nicki Minaj’s brother has claimed the tween girl who accused him of repeatedly raping her was having sex with an older man – just not with him.

In a letter to the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, lawyers for Jelani Maraj said they had a strong reason to believe his 12-year-old accuser was having sex with another adult male, and requested all evidence that shows she had or tried to have sexual contact with men over the age of 17.

They also asked for emails, cell phone records, texts, social media records and any other evidence that showed her communicating with or meeting up with with older men.

“Our firm has a good faith basis to believe that the complainant in this case has had intimate physical contact with a man who is not the defendant in this case and who is older than 17 years of age and who may have caused there to be physical evidence of repeated vaginal and anal penetration of the complainant,” Maraj’s lawyers
Maraj’s lawyers also asked the DA for any statements that the alleged victim, witnesses or anyone else made that corroborated their claim that the accuser had sex with someone else other than Maraj.

But the Nassau County District Attorney begs to differ, and a grand jury April 4 indicted Maraj on child sex crimes, accusing him of raping and sodomizing the girl at least twice from April through November 2015.
One investigation found evidence that he mistreated or abused a child, and the other report deemed the claims “unfounded.”

Maraj’s lawyers believe that the results that cleared Maraj show that Child Protective Services has evidence that could clear their client, and asked to review his entire file.

Maraj, 37, is facing felony child rape charges, including predatory sexual assault against a child and first degree sexual conduct against a child. If convicted, Maraj faces up to life in prison.
He pled not guilty at his arraignment April 19, and during the hearing, a judge extended an order of protection between him and the alleged victim until 2017.

He is due back in court next month.

Nicki Minaj has yet to comment on her brother’s case.

HAVING A 'WORK SPOUSE' MAKES YOU HAPPIER

Ben Friberg knew he had met someone special at work when they bonded over their knowledge of Greek mythology. He had just started working as a photographer at a television news station in Austin, Texas in 2007 and he and his colleague, a reporter, were waiting to interview someone for a story. “We were still in the ‘getting to know you’ phase,” says Friberg. They started discussing the movie Troy, and she pointed out the discrepancies between the movie and the Iliad, the Greek story it loosely chronicles. “I can remember thinking, ‘this is going to be a different type of relationship,’” says Friberg. Conventional wisdom holds that colleagues shouldn’t get too close, but the changing nature of the workplace is thr...
