The Poet pours out her emotions on Nigeria at 57

I've found a new love for me

I've found a nation so sweet

I've found a home as peaceful as it could be

I've found a great Country,

Where natural disasters flee from thee.

I've found a home

Where religion is not joked at

I've found a dwelling place for all people, tribes

And a place of acceptance

I've found Africa Canaan land

A place filled with Africans milk and honey.

I've found a place filled with new hope, new dreams

With outrageous fulfillment

I've found a land where freedom genuinely exist

A home without the word illegal immigrant

A home heading to civilization

Where pure and natural talents actually exist

57 years

57 years Nigeria

Despite the turmoil of corruption you remain ever strong

Despite the incorrigible past leaders you remain ever great

57 years Nigeria,

Yet your flag still stand with pride

I pray for a nation where love, peace and justice reigns

I love my country

Billionaire clergyman and founder of Living Faith Ministries aka Winners Chapel, Bishop Oyedepo pictured in his uniform as he joined his former classmates at the 50th anniversary of their secondary school, Government Secondary School, Omu-Aran Kwara state, on Saturday, November 11th.
